Yamilett Abejon - Teacher


Yamilett is a professional arts educator and a lifelong yarn enthusiast who has been captivating students with 
her knitting and crochet expertise since she first picked up needles at the age of 10. With a deep passion for the craft, she has shared the joy of fiber arts with others teaching in diverse locations and students of all ages.  As a professional arts educator, Yamilett excels at creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for knitters and crocheters of all skill levels.  She finds immense satisfaction in guiding beginners through their first stitches and challenging advanced students with intricate patterns. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that creativity is a universal language, and she has taken this principle global, teaching her craft in several countries such as Hong Kong, China and Costa Rica.

When she's not teaching, Yamilett can often be found at local "stitch and sip" gatherings and knitting circles, a testament to her belief that the best way to connect with people is through shared passions. For Yamilett, every project is more than just a piece of fabric, it's a tangible object of comfort and care.
